As a communication professor, I frequently receive e-mails from businesses and non-profit organizations that are seeking communication interns - particularly in the public relations field. Internships are an excellent way for students to jump-start their careers! (I speak from personal experience - as an undergraduate I landed a public relations internship in my college's PR office that launched my career.)
