COURSE DESCRIPTION

This course is an introduction to the rationale and practice of program evaluation. The course introduces students to the principles and technical skills needed for conducting effective program evaluation in the public, nonprofit, and private sectors. Major topics include establishing evaluation standards and criteria, design of evaluation, developing evaluation instruments, statistical analysis of evaluation data, and report preparation.
