Dr. Ahmed was elected to the College Senate in April 2020 for 2 years. He currently serves on the ‘Equity, Inclusion and Diversity’ committee.
Dr. Ahmed is chairing the Research and Creativity Council for the 2021-2022 academic year.
Dr. Ahmed is the faculty advisor for the Muslim Students Association.
