Prior to joining SUNY Buffalo State in August 2018, Dr. Ahmed spent 7 years at Intel Corporation as an R&D Engineer (from 2011-2018).
Some highlights from his industry career are highlighted below:
-Promoted in March 2018 to Individual Contributor.
-Engaged in practical implementation of fundamental and applied science and engineering concepts within high-paced development groups; also supervised college/university students during their internships.
-Latest role incorporated the use of various models, algorithms, and analyses in order to train, consult, and facilitate compliant test implementation at various sockets for all Intel products.
-Qualified, prepared and presented > 45 internal technical papers for qualifying new tools, processes, and products.
-Department Award in Q1’2017 and Q4’2017.
-Recognized 10 times from 2011-2018 for exemplary execution of critical projects.
-Awarded the Q1’2014 Intel Divisional Excellence Award: Developed in-situ capability of testing microprocessors and synthesize between issues causing failures. Ultimate impact was exponential improvement of manufacturing test-time and resource allocation/implementation.
