- Today I performed work using the Merrill Lynch Database. The database contains
all the information regarding client accounts. I was asked to search the KAI
Database for approximately 25 clients. I wrote down the client name and T-Val
for each account. This allows Mr. Martin to see a portion of the account portfolio
that he will use to re-evaluate the current investment performance.
- I used microfilm to locate a February 2002 statement for a particular account.
This statement was regarding the account of one of Mr. Martin's good clients.
- I contacted twenty Merrill Lynch clients and verified attendance for the
luncheon that will be hosted by the State Street Research Funds on October
1st. The main speaker, Mr. Marcus Jewels, will speak about various funds that
State Street Research offers in the market.
- I attended an evening seminar at the Classics V Banquet Center in Amherst.
The topic, "Financial Planning," was presented by Mr. John Lang, Merrill Lynch
Consultant from New Jersey. The presentation lasted approximately 45 minutes
and was followed by a question-and-answer period. The presentation was a summary
of the initial training manual that I was given. I found the evening to be
a great learning experience and an opportunity to network with many financial
planners.
