Measurement errors- Random; Systematic
Random error- also known as chance error are measurement mistakes that have no pattern to them. I.E. -someone who is tired miss marks the survey or the respondent if confused about a word & mistakenly answers
Systematic error- distorts the findings in a particular direction. Social desirability, acquiescence response set bias
