E-Commerce Intern - Providing
individualized assistance to small business owners - start up services, marketing, human
resources and financial analysis. -=-=-=- As the Small Business
Development Centers (SBDC) Website Development Program Assistant, you
will play a pivotal role in connecting our SBDC clients with our web
development partners, ensuring seamless communication, tracking project
progress, and managing resource allocation. Your primary responsibilities
will involve coordinating website development projects, monitoring email
correspondence, tracking developer hours, and managing project budgets. The
successful candidate will possess strong Excel skills, exceptional
communication abilities, and a keen attention to detail. |

Internship
Duties: |
Key Responsibilities Client Liaison: ·
Act
as the main point of contact between SBDC clients and website development
partners. ·
Facilitate
initial client consultations to understand website development requirements. Project Coordination: ·
Coordinate
project timelines, ensuring timely completion of milestones and deliverables. ·
Track
and manage communication between clients and developers to address any
project-related queries or concerns. Email Correspondence: ·
Manage
and organize email communication related to website development projects. ·
Ensure
prompt response to client inquiries and maintain clear, transparent
communication throughout the development process. Resource Allocation: ·
Monitor
and document developer hours dedicated to each project. ·
Collaborate
with development partners to optimize resource allocation and ensure
efficient project delivery. Budget Management: ·
Track
project expenses and ensure adherence to allocated budgets. ·
Work
closely with finance teams to manage invoicing and financial aspects of
website development projects. Reporting and
Documentation: ·
Maintain
accurate records of project progress, including timelines, client feedback,
and developer hours. ·
Generate
regular reports on project status for internal and client review. Requirements: ·
Working
towards a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration,
Marketing, or a related field. ·
Proven
experience in project coordination or management, preferably in website
development. ·
Strong
proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting. ·
Excellent
written and verbal communication skills. ·
Detail-oriented
with strong organizational abilities. ·
Ability
to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. ·
Familiarity
with web development processes and terminology is a plus. |
