Industry Canada's Corporate Information Site.  The department's mission is to foster a growing competitive, knowledge-based Canadian economy.  Includes speeches, news releases, information bulletins, Click! articles, program fast facts, photos, success stories, industry showcase items, links.  The huge number of links connect to nearly every aspect of Canadian business. Excellent place to start.

Canada's Business Information Site.   First rate resource.  Includes industry statistics, company information, data on exports and trade.  Also offers links to a huge number of companies and many industries. Easy to use.

Doing Business In Canada.  Site offered by McDonald and Hayden, Barristers and solicitors.  Offers brief but useful information on taxation, trade restriction, investment, and more.  Major drawback is site is dated 1996.

Yahoo's Canada Business and Economy.  Hundreds of links dealing with every aspect of Canada.  This site has an extensive listing of directories of companies as well as thousands of company sites.  This is an outstanding resource and highly recommended as a starting point for a search dealing with business in Canada.
