Professor in Communication

SUNY Buffalo State

Lou is an Associate Professor in the Communication Department and the Television and Film Arts Program. He teaches Introduction to Visual Communication, Basic Media Production, Communication & Web, Advanced Post Production, Photojournalism, Producing Short Films I, Producing Short Films II, and TFA Senior Projects.

Outside of teaching, Lou is an academic adisor to students and serves on various committees in the department, the school of Arts & Sciences, and the College.

He served as an editor for Bridgepoint Education onlinve textbooks and the Oxford University Press. Lou is a member of the Just Buffalo Literary Center and the Short Fiction Writers Guild

His current research area is in social media and its application in education.

This year's event in Toronto should be fantastic. Lou and fellow writers from the Horror Writers Association will be at the conventiaon all 4 days. Lou will participate on 2 panel discussion on the genre of Horror writing!
