Welcome!

We study how biological systems interact with the environment from the scale of leaves to ecosystems.  We are driven by questions related to anthropogenic global change such as nonnative plant invasions, nitrogen deposition and changes in precipitation associated with global warming.

To address these questions, we combine traditional methods in community and physiological ecology with approaches adopted from soil science, hydrology, and micrometeorology.
