The goal of Psych of Sex is to introduce students to the psychological research related to human sexuality.  This is not a health class; the focus is on why humans behave as they do and on the attitudes that people hold.   I consider Psych of Sex to be a lot of fun to teach and I encourage classroom discussion that allows students to consider their own attitudes and beliefs.  Students leave the class with an understanding of psychological issues related to gender roles, sexual development, attraction and love, sexual orientation, sexual dysfunctions and disorders, and other topics.
